We're so stoked to have the new 9th Street Village artist's collective in our neighborhood and to celebrate Spring's arrival after such a crazy winter. Join us at the Spring Break Fashion pop-up shop this Saturday & Sunday (March 25th 10-4 & March 26th noon-4pm) with a ton of great vendors including Stuart's of Bend, Wildflower Mobile Boutique, One Love by Panambi, Lost Season Supply, EMW Fusion, Layers Squared, & Nomad Leather plus coffee & free mimosas!
Cleaning Spree
Ever wondered how to easily clean your brass & copper jewelry? Here's the recipe: a tasty craft beer, good reading material...oh, and ketchup & baking soda.
Method: put a bit of ketchup in a shallow dish, enough to cover metal (while being careful to avoid the gems or stones) and then let rest for 45 minutes or so. While you wait, pour delicious beverage, prop up your feet & enjoy your chosen good read. Use an old toothbrush (no, not your roommate's!!) with a bit of water and baking soda to scrub off the ketchup and brighten those hop earrings to look brand new again.
Finally, congratulate yourself for going on such an exhausting saturday cleaning craze. ;)
Women in Beer on PorchDrinking.com
Such appreciation to Pam Catoe at CraftBeerAustin for reaching out to do a story about Hopped Up Jewelry recently. It was published over on PorchDrinking.com as a part of their Women in Beer series. Cheers, y'all!
Worthy Brewing Collaboration
We're thrilled to announce the release of a new line of earrings, created exclusively for Worthy Brewing. A few months ago, we put our heads together with the good folks on their team and came up with two new designs that you can now find in their beautiful establishment and in our online store. Hope you get a chance to stop by soon and enjoy a pint of one of their tasty experimental Heart & Soul series - maybe we'll see ya there!
